Concrete Bridge Reinforcement Corrosion Mechanism And Prevention Countermeasures

This paper, through investigating the diseases condition of the bridge decks, studies the types, reasons and mechanisms of the concrete diseases, and analyzes the water effect for the diseases. In order to prevent degrading of concrete performance and eroding of reinforcing steel bars, the paper presents the different protecting systems for the newly built bridges and the old ones. Based on the situation of eroding of reinforcing steel bar, the paper bring forward the bridge waterproofing course to resolve the concrete problems. Considering the latest research results, the paper further studies the flexible waterproofing material of bridge decks and the relevant testing methods.For there are not the relating specifications of waterproofing material in our country, the paper studies the construction techniques and quality controlling systems, and the detail requirements and quality evaluating methods of construction. At last, through studying the field-testing project, the paper improves and adjust the research contents.
