High performance concrete (HPC) is new high-tech concrete, which is on the basis of improving of the property and aimed at the durability design. It has a wide prospect and provides a new solution to the environment protection and sustainable development.The paper presents the demand of raw material used in HPC firstly. On this basis, the physical and mechanical property of HPC is fully studied by the means of orthogonal experiment, including workability, compression strength, spit tensile strength, fracture, durability and deformability. Through the mathematical method, the effect of influencing factors of mixture ratio including ratio of water to cementing material, fly ash composite additive and sand percentage is analyzed systematically. It shows that HPC with fly ash is of good performance. At the same time, the technique route of low strength concrete to be high-performed is studied. The result shows that normal concrete with low strength after been high-performed is of good high performance. What's more, through the experimental projects in Tang Shan area, the paper practices site experiments of HPC. The measures of proper technology and quality control are presented.In order to study HPC further, fly ash-cement mortar and interface structure of HPC are tested by using Micro structural analysis technology such as GTA and SEM. And hydration mechanism of fly ash-cement is also discussed.
