Resonant Dc / Dc Converter

After reviewing the state of the art of Distribute Power Supply and analyzing the common DC/DC converter, a newly applied topology- Full Bridge LLC Resonant DC/DC Converter is proposed. This topology, combining four switches with double half-wave rectifier and using variable frequency control mode with a refined small times together, achieves the effect of Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) and the effect of Zero Current Switching (ZCS) by the resonance of resonant capacitance, resonant inductor and the magnetic inductor of the transformer. Operation Principle, Design Equations and Loss Estimation of such a topology are presented. The remarkable experiment results, obtained from 48V52.5A-500KHz prototype, show the best feature of this topology.
