High-voltage DC (HVDC) aeronautical power system has the advantages such as lower weightand easiness to realize uninterruptible power supply, which has been regarded as the future trend ofthe power system in aeroplane. Reseach on the aeronautical static inverter with high power density, high efficiency and high reliability is of great significance of theory and practice. The LLC resonant converter with two resonant tanks is very suitable for the DC/DC stage in theaeronautical static inverter, because it has the advantages of low input current ripple, simpleconfiguration, zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) for the switches and zero-current switching (ZCS) forthe rectifier diodes in a wide load range. In this thesis, the operation principle and the features of theLLC resonant converter converter under variable-frequency control were discussed in details. Thecharacteristics of the converter with two resonant tanks were analyzed using fundamental harmonicapproach, and the voltage conversion ratio of the converter was derived. Considering the unmatch ofthe two resonant tanks, the effect on the voltage conversion ratio, resonant inductor current andresonant capacitor voltage were analyzed. In order to reduce the unmatch sources of the two resonanttanks and improve the reliability of the converter, an interleaved LLC converter with only oneresonant inductor was proposed. Finally, a1kW prototype was favricated and tested in the lab, and the experimental results wereprovided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed converter.
