Against the background of pressure measurement of the muzzle shock wave, the main work of the article is to study the interpolation methods to describe the pressure surface of the muzzle shock wave.Firstly, several means, which are classical methods to describe curves and surfaces, are introduced, including the three order spline interpolation method, the Bezier method, the B-spline method and many-knot spline method. Using the Bezier function, a new way is put forward, which can make for a loss of the conditions to make up a three-order spline interpolation curve. Then, these means are compared with datas and figures. During this course, the B-spline interpolation method's strong suit is standing out. Specially, due to the characters of the measured data, the way to choose the parameter in the B-spline function is analyzed. Finally, based on the actual data measured in the experiment, the bicubic B-spline interpolation surface is used to figure out the pressure surface of the muzzle shock wave, using the level coordinates of the measured dots as the knots sequence. In the same time, the surface and the contour plot are drawed and the data are given.Further more, the betterment of the method to account the boundary of the pressure surface is brought forward and other feasible method is suggested too. Comparing with former method, the data and figures are showed out.
