The initial unbalance of middle/mini-sized motor rotors generated during manufacture and assembles reduce the quality of motors, so the initial unbalance of motor rotors must be corrected before use. With the continuous expanding trend of domestic middle/mini-sized motor products to every field, the efficiency of unbalance correction becomes the key problem, which decides the batch manufacture of middle/mini-sized motor rotors on large scale.Based on the investigation and evaluation of the current manufacturing status of domestic enterprise, of the related product characters of foreign companies, and of the research results of related domestic scientific institutes, this thesis invents the 搒emiautomatic unbalance correction system solution to meet the needs of majority of labor-extensive domestic enterprises, with low cost realization.揅 onstruction and Research of semiautomatic unbalance correction system for middle/mini-sized motor rotors is a typical application of mechanical and electronical technologies. It deals with many disciplines like: static/dynamic mechanics analysis in mechanical design, digital signal theories, and applications of motion control theory. The thesis accomplishes the system realization from conception machine to experimental machines, build up the whole system, which consist of three major parts:1) Self-designed mini-balancing machine. Under the direction of rotor dynamics, a mathematical model of the run-time balancing machine is created. The key structural dimensions of the balance machine is decided according to the analysis results of the mathematical model.2) Cutting-machine reshaped from a general drill machine, and corresponding motion controller. A numerical control cutting-machine is realized on the base of a general drill machine. The motor rotor can rotate to the object position with agility, and be kept stable during machining. The controller applies a neat and a jam-free circuit.3) An experimental operation platform on a general PC, with NI multi-function board as hardware and LabVIEW6.1 and Matlab6.1 as development tools. The experimental operation platform applies the concept of Virtual Instrument, realizes the functions of signal sampling, unbalancing calculation and cutting-machine control.Experiments are carried out upon the system and some of the system functions are testified. The system sets the equipment foundation for latter experiments; the research works offer important referential value and illumination.
