| Modeling and model-based approaches of fault diagnosis for engine are two fields of research for engine's reliability engineering. From the viewpoint of model-based fault detection, this thesis discussed those problems including modeling, simulation and the design of a kind of fault detection filter for engine. The main results of the thesis are as following:(1) On the basis of perfect gas's thermodynamic characteristic, some thermodynamic problems of engine are discussed. And the computation approaches of specific heat, enthalpy, entropy of gas in engine component are given.(2) A sort of component-based model of engine is discussed. The importance of component performance map in the engine modeling is considered. And a new fan performance line fitting-method is developed.(3) Typical configurations of gas turbine engine are analyzed from the viewpoint of energy. And based on its results, a new kind of simulation frame of gas turbine engine is proposed.(4) A kind of fault detection filter is designed to check some failure of actuators in engine control system. And digital simulation are presented to prove the effective of the method. |
