The composite materials have been widely used in the fields of astronautics and aerospace. Sandwich constructions are a kind of special composite materials. Because of the high intensity, they have been widely used in satellite structures. During the analysis of aero craft structures, software of international popularity and authorization, such as NASTRAN, ANSYS ALGOR COSMOSM ADINA, have not standard honeycomb sandwich element.The paper's engineering background was mechanics analysis of satellite base subjected impulsion load considering boundary nonlinearity. Chapter 2 presented three equivalent models of honeycomb sandwich structures. They are sandwich plate, honeycomb plate and equivalent plates. Numerical examples showed equivalent effect and advantage and disadvantage of three models. It also deduced expressions of true stress, and gave numerical examples. Method of node pairs in Chapter 3 discussed contact nonlinear theory of flanged structure and numerical example of two overlapped plates was presented in Chapter 4. Chapter 5 aimed at honeycomb structures contained complex and plenty of joints, such as satellite, simulated the joints by stiffness coefficients and solved the difficulty with modeling and the long compute time. Chapter 6 was mechanics analysis of satellite subjected impulsion load and the results gave the test reference data.
