Sandwich plates as a composite material are widely applied to various fields ofnational economy, bring tremendous development in social prodution. Due to thesandwich structure has the extraordinarynature of force transmission mechanism, when thebuckling behavior of sandwich plates produce, its face veneer and core will soon appearseparation, make the rapid degradation of stiffness in the whole or local structure, leadingto early failure of the structure. So, it is very important for sandwich plate bucklingresearch to ensure the safe use of the structure.In this paper, use the eigenvalue buckling mode analysis of ANSYS finite elementmethod to study the square honeycomb sandwich plate buckling problem, and analysedifferent geometry parameters, material properties and honeycomb cell shape on thehoneycomb sandwich plates buckling. The results show that: a reasonable increase in thecore-high, the face veneer thickness, honeycomb cell-wall thickness or reduce the sidelength of the cell body and choose a slightly larger modulus of elasticity of core materialwill increase the anti-buckling capacity of honeycomb sandwich plate; by computationand analysis to know, the honeycomb sandwich buckling behavior is more sensitive tochanges the face veneer thickness and core high; Select the same quality sandwich plate ofsquare, hexagonal, diamond three kinds of sandwich forms to analyse, the squarehoneycomb sandwich plate buckling resistance ability will be better.This article also study and confirm that in the bending process of honeycombsandwich plate, the honeycomb core indeed occur local buckling behavior. In last chapter,the honeycomb sandwich plates special stiffness in different sandwich form, different sizeparameters are figured out. The results show that: it is not the higher special stiffness valueof honeycomb sandwich plates, the better its anti-buckling capacity.
