Water hydraulics, as a kind of new technology, is widely cared because of its environment-protections and energy-savings. Water-hydraulics will take place of oil hydraulics step by step. Poppet valves are not only the key components but also the main components for energy loss, so the property of water hydraulic valves is significant for water hydraulic control system. Because the operation in water hydraulic valves is controlled by flow fluid and the pressure drop results from energy loss of flow fluid past valve channel, the flow state of fluid in valves becomes the most important factor for the operational, property of valves.Hydraulic pound, vibrate, noise and cavitation are the main problems in water hydraulic valves, and finite element numerical analysis is proved to be an effective computational method, so numerical simulation and visualizing research on the flow field in water hydraulic valves by applying finite volume method is very important.Researching on the property of flow field inside water hydraulic valves, After simulating the model of water hydraulic valves, the velocity distribution, pressure distribution, energy distribution can be obtained and relations between the valve channel and the energy loss, the negative pressure distribution can be analyzed, which offers the theory foundation for designing water hydraulic valves with the high efficiency, low energy loss and low noise.
