Dielectric withstand testing is used to evaluate wiring and electric insulation. It is way of testing that the insulation be tested at a much greater voltage than normal to ensure that the insulation is not marginal. The intent of the dielectric test is to stress the insulation for a short period of time and check that it does not fail. The device names withstands voltage tester.With China joining WTO, many methods for checking license to product is unified to CCC. The CCC is compellent authentication to prove ability of manufacture for the product. It emphasize that it is important for safety-performance to the product. So market need rapidly more and more the devices for dielectric withstand testing. It is important one of safety testing. According to standards of a variety of being test products and idiographic conditions of manufacture, market needs many types and models of withstands voltage tester. But it also is compelled by corresponding standards.The article introduce mainly design of catena about withstands voltage tester. According to semblable trait of control circuit in many types and models for withstands voltage tester, the design should ensure manufacture of a variety of testers is not magnitude changes in order to the variety be provided rapidly and in low cost. It is important for unifying project of the design that we must concern with characteristic between high voltage and being test material. First, design and manufacture of universal and low power tester can testify adequately rationality and stability of the project for the catena.According to application for radical trait of the control circuit of universal and low power withstands tester, the article continues to introduce two design projects for batch withstands tester and automatic return/startup one for electromotor. Expansion designs never change the radical project of the primal design. Batch withstands tester only add function of distinguish from unqualified products. Automatic return/startup tester adds function of control time of return/startup. It is proved that the primal design reasonable.
