Along with the applications of the high-tech on solid rocket motors, the systematic complexity improves day by day. Thus it is very difficult to adopt traditional artificial ways in the diagnosis of solid rocket motors, while its efficiency is rather low. In this dissertation the application of Expert System technique on the fault diagnosis of solid rocket motors is studied based on the basic principle of the fault diagnosis.The main contributions in this dissertation are included as follows: Expert System technique is introduced into the fault diagnosis. The diagnosis knowledge representation is recognized availably by the computer and the users can add, delete and upgrade the knowledge rule easily in the database by introducing the Decision Tree and Case method into knowledge representation. The Inference Engine of the expert system is the frame associated with Decision Tree and Case. Meanwhile, the system can record the reasoning process. Therefore users can choose to type the reasoning process, which is the explain mechanism. After the overall structure of expert system for solid rocket motors overall fault diagnosis, the target is realized through analyzing the instance. Finally the programming and debugging analyses of internal trajectory abnormal curve are accomplished.
