GPS multi-antenna array dam deformation supervising and disaster forecasting system is a cooperation program which is declared by YuanNan Man Wan Electric Power Industrial Developing limited Company, Kunming Xipuru science and technology limited liability company and Wuhan University. It obtains the ratification of Yunnan province science and technology department. The researching group developed a set of system that is hydroelectric station dam deformation analysis and disaster forecast successfully within 2 years in Manwan hydroelectric station experimental base. The program aimed at researching the theory of dam deformation supervising and dam deformation analysing of domestic different scales hydroelectric station.The paper is divided four chapters. The first chapter: introduction. It described that the system concern of the scope of researching, purpose, methods and principle. The second chapter introduced the program's primary knowledge and application about GPS. The third chapter is the focal point of paper. To elaborate the composition of GPS multi-antenna array dam deformation supervising and disaster forecasting system, the content, method, theory. The fourth chapter is the result of researching.The content of researching is divided the system of dam deformation data collection and system of processing dam deformation data and forecasting disaster.The systems included all supervised programs of entering information, calculating, enquiring, printing forms, statisticing, graphing, analyzing, processing the data of dam deformation and forecasting disaster. (for instance seeping, settlement, leveling displacement, neutral pressure, earth pressure, cracks, concrete and bar stress-strain temperature, uplift pressure, hydrometeor, wave, patrol inspecting, slope stabilization analyzing, act.)The function of system is powerful and comprehensive. It has excellent human-machine interface and operate conveniently. The system could real time analysis the observing result. It could improve the level of supervising dam security, reduce the cost of supervising dam security automation and prevent the accidenthappening. It is one of the kernels and it possesses the characteristics of bringing forth new ideas, unique quality and novel quality. The technology of system is in lead interior country.Dam Deformation Data Collection System. The primary part is hardware. According to the characters of dam, research the way of dam deformation supervising collection and achieve the theory of telemetry, telecontrol and real time data transmission. Then it will realize the all-weather data collection steadily. The focal point is netted scheme, operation scheme and data transmission that collect automatically data by measuring robots. The point also touches upon the challenges about that GPS technology of one machine and multi-antenna apply to supervise dam deformation and the technology of sensor transducer integration. The aim is to develop a complete and stably set of dam deformation data collection system, which rely on cooperation with sensor transducers. The system transmits data by mini computer or mobile phone that has the function of wireless communication. It could transmit the data to dam deformation database of control center in order to usage of processing dam deformation data and forecasting disaster.Dam Deformation Data Processing and Disaster Forecasting System, This primary part is software and researching a set of computer software system, which could process datum that come from all kinds of fields and could forecast disaster. In the first place, the system arranges and classifies the dam deformation datum, which were collected by sensor transducers and draw the information of dam deformation. Then according to the information to build up a model of disaster forecasting and forecast the possible accident. In the last analysis, it puts forward a scheme and it is possible that avoid the accident of dam and reduce the loss.This program touches upon some key technology that include integration of collecting datum, the real time transporting of datum, processing the integrated database, forecasting of deformation analysis and choosing the forecasting model, etc.Recently, there are some researches in this field of interior of domestic and overseas. In the aspect of dam supervising data, there are three ways that includemanual work semi-automation and automation. However, the level of automation technology is not very high. The way of collecting datum includes the means of sensor transducer, measuring robot, laser technology, static leveling technology, GPS technology, etc. However the way of integrating should be researched and improved. In the data processing aspect, unitary of supervising data should be processed. It does not achieve that handle many types of datum It does not research database management system that could handle official business automation. Meanwhile, it is necessary that analyzing the calculating and forecasting models and analyze theory.
