The paper introduces current situation and development trend of dry gas seal especially , and points out it is necessary to replace humid seal system by dry gas seal . At the same time the technical research state and the application of dry gas seal are introduced both at houme and abroad too . Its characteristic and typical structures are given , and the structure and characteristic of the spiral groove seal of the unilateral pump pattern are discussed .The basic principal and general structure of dry gas seal are introduced briefly , and aiming at the characteristics of logarithm spiral curve , the calculation of the pressure to the spiral groove end surface by the fheory of narrow groove are given . The method of narrow groove theory and finite element method are utilized to optimize the end surface structure of the spiral groove dry gas seal . The structure of the seal is confirmed on the base of the result.Appointing to the characteristic and operating condition of centrifugal compressor , thecarrying capacity , the leakage and the film thickness of the dry gas seal are calculated by the theory of narrow groove .On the base of practical characteristics of the compressor , tandem seal is chosen . Then the matedrial and the specialty of the seal surface are analyzed , and the control system of tandem seal is designed.The rationality and feasibility of the scheme for the selected seal are verified by the application . The valuable experience is provided for the application and popularization of dry gas seal in the future. |
