With the development of the renewable resource, the research about all kinds of technologies in the renewable field are being paid more attention. Wind power, no pollution energy resource, is paid great attention by more and more countries, the research and application of the wind generation technology are developed rapidly in recent years.At first, this paper introduce the current development situation about the world wind power and wind generation technology. Secondly, analyze the wide foreground of the wind power. In our country, wind power technology is behind of the developed countries, so it is time to make progress in our wind generation field. On the basis of "The research and manufacture of electrical control system of MW VSCF Wind Generation" which is a national 863 program, the paper emphasized the key technology of the grid-side voltage source converter. From theory to practice, from simulation to experiment, there are large researches. All of these have established stability theoretical foundation for continue study work.This paper mainly research the grid-side converter which is be applied in MW VSCF wind generation, it adopt the three phases voltage source PWM converter topology frame .The works include three phases voltage source PWM converter principle, topology frame, mathematics model, control strategy, the ways to promote the dynamic response, simulation analysis, software and hardware construction.Through the analysis of the work principle of three phases voltage resource PWM converter, set up the low and high mathematic models, deduce the restriction equations about grid voltage, grid current, modulation voltage and the DC output voltage and the calculation equations of the AC-side inductance and the DC-side capacitance. There are two control strategies are adopted: Predicted current control strategy and voltage-current two closed-loop control strategy, and give a comparison by theory and practice. To enhance the system dynamic response, we adopt load current forward feed compensation and a new nerve cell intelligent PI controller which is based upon expert system, it is be demonstrated by simulation and experiment, this is the one part of my important research.
