The anodizing process and anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) films were characterized by means of Voltage-time curves, SEM, EDAX, XRD and electrolyte capacitor model. Porous alumina templates were obtained by one and two-step anodization respectively. The results indicate that the order degree raises with prolonged time. The regularity of holes arrangement in the membrane made by two-step anodic oxidation displayed better than that of the membrane anodizing only once from experimental results. It was swiftly to obtain the thickness of alumina film by use of its dielectric property and electrolyte capacitor model. The results show that, the thickness of barrier oxide films can be calculated accurately by use of its dielectric property. The barrier layer produce rate is 1.219.Various factors (e.g. electrolytes, anodizing time, temperature, current density, electrolyte concentration, etc.) influenced the anodization process were investigated. The results show that the nanometer pores have formed before reaching the peak point in acid electrolyte. Nanometer pores also can be obtained in nearly neutral electrolyte. Different factors affect the regularity of porous distribution together in anodizing process. The model of AAO films was founded which admits that O2 has the positive effect on the forming and developing of AAO films.Electric PPy nanowairs was synthesized by alumina templates.Polypyrrole nanowires growing with one-dimension in nanometer pores. PPy keeps on developing with high regularity in one-dimension out of membrane owing to the cross-link effect.
