So the research into the cool storage air conditioners has become the hot topic supported by the government, which has the function of balanced load, energy saving and environmental protection., The research of the cool storage materials and cool storage system has been developed from water cool storage, ice cool storage to the third generation of e utectic salt, warm ice cool storage. The ripe technology of cool storage air conditioners on land is infiltrating on ships., The following paper will refer to the demand of cool storage materials according to the peculiarity of air conditioners on ships, and the analyses about the process of gaseous hydrate and its peculiarity and also the effect on the gaseous hydrate,, It chooses the cool storage materials suitable for ships and proposes the plan of refrigerative compressor driven by main engine of warm-ice cool storage air conditioners on ships.
