Accepting the suggestion of the specialist's advice, and according to its principle of the operations, optimization, statistics, principle of matrix and so on, we used the AHP method and hierarchical clustering principle to determined every part's weight of the bridge expansion joint, put forward the standard process of the comprehensive estimate method & formulate, and defined the criterion table for the method.The standard process of the comprehensive estimate method is: Firstly, determined which type the bridge expansion joint was and what grade its part was; And then defined every part's figure refer the standard of every part's level for its destroyed, search for the weight of the part at the standard table, as the same method, we can fined the coefficient of traffic and the coefficient of structure; Finally, used the comprehensive estimate formulate we can get the estimated result, Then we can defined how to maintain the bridge expansion joint by reference the estimated result.At the last of the test, we introduced the process of the comprehensive estimate method by tow examples, we tested this method, the method is easy to be operated and accurately, this method can guide the maintain work of the bridge expansion joint.
