With the development of Car Automotive, distributed real system in the car is becoming an important communication way slowly. The trend makes the communication way change from mechanical way to electrical way and network which can trim the length of wire and improve the security of data transmission. CAN-Bus is developed in the situation. It is used in the communication way between the testing apparatus and implement.Tires are critical in the parts of the car. If the pressure in the tire is not enough, petrol consumption will increase. On the other hand, the pressure is more. The tires maybe blow. Therefore proper pressure is one of the critical factors as for car security.Found on the situation, the paper presents the method of Car Tire Pressure Inspecting and Monitoring system based on CAN-Bus. Firstly, Car Tire Pressure Inspecting way is designed. Secondly, characteristics of CAN-Bus, data transmission, arbitration and error checking are introduced. The fourth part of the paper puts emphasis upon particular scheme for Car Tire Pressure Inspecting and Monitoring system. It includes the design of hardware, software and power down mode. Car Tire Pressure Inspecting and Monitoring system is constituted of three parts. One part is Car Tire Pressure Inspecting system. The other part is radio transmission. Another part is data transmission on the CAN-Bus. Tire Pressure Inspecting system samples the pressure and temperature in the tires and sends the data to the receiver in the car if the pressure is higher than the standard. The receiver analyses the data and sends the data to the CAN-Bus. The subsystems on the CAN-Bus do something according to the data. The future applications and problems of the system are pointed out at chapter 5.
