Electricity System is one of the main applications of Power Electronics. Solid state fault current limiter(SSFCL) has the ability to limit the fault current as quickly as possible. This paper presents a new kind of power supply with high isolated voltage and multi-channel output. It can provide driving pulse for SCR and at the same time provide power for DSP control system.This paper mainly includes the contents as follows:In the first chapter, paper introduces the background. After introducing briefly all kinds of methods to limit the fault current, this paper presents particularly the principle and characteristic of SSFCL.From this chapter, We can get the all-round information about the whole system.In the second chapter, paper introduces two kinds of AC bus.This chapter mainly makes preparation for the following circuit design.The third and fourth chapter are the emphasis of the whole paper. AC current bus and AC voltage bus are adopted in these chapters. Half bridge circuit provides power for DSP system. AC current bus circuit is made up of BUCK converter , Full Bridge converter and Resonant network. We adopt theory analysis, emulate affirmation and trial adjustment methods.The fifth part introduces the design of SCR drive-module. The design of switching mode circuit is the keystone of the part.Finally, based on the analysis of above parts, paper introduces a more than 0.5 KW, 100KHZ prototype. The experimental results verify the availability of the circuit.
