Bridge Jacking Technology Research

Jacking-up technique was first adopted to railway bridges construction ; hydraulic jacking-up technique was developed quickly and first adopted to single precasting beam construction and offset in highway bridge construction. Recently,as the rapid development of synchro hydraulic jacking-up technique, applied range is expanding .Engineering practices make us believe that this new technique with good application prospect.But every engineer has to think how to adopt this technique to increasing bridge reconstruction and avoiding affecting original traffic , high cost and hazard circumstance from conventional reconstruction to make limited fund more efficiency. So, the author research some attentive problems applying this technique to bridge construction , especially in casting concrete continuous beams, which will give valuable advice to other engineering constructed later. The author research mainly apply ANSYS software to analyse various jacking-up schemes and obtain major monitor position in every scheme ,which will supply some reliable method in construction control.In the same time, the author introduce this technique in other engineering for different construction method.The author expect the research of this technique can be promoted ,and the paper can give assistance for jacking-up technique further spreading and development.
