In the mountainous first-class highway construction, the embankment is always extremely high and has become one of main structures of road. But long time ago, the question in which the high embankment exists can not cause the people enough to take, and some varying degree destruction appears just in the short time opening to traffic, which has seriously affected the first-class highway operational performance.There are a lot of factors affecting the embankment subsidence stability ,for example: The operating mode, fill highness, thickness of weak soil layer, the soil parameter of each layer of embankment and ground(such as: modulus of deformation, poisson's ratio, cohesive force, angle of internal friction) and so on. The role of these factors to the roadbed subsidence and roadbed stability are not independent, but is restricts mutually, plays together.This article, with the aid of the finite element tool, has analyzed the relations between the roadbed subsidence distortion and the embankment highness h1, embankment modulus of deformation Es1, ground modulus of deformation Es2and their varying scale Es1/Es2 has put forward to appropriate index reducing the ground surface subsidence quantity and the differential settlement quantity under the high embankment load; has carried on the numerical analysis to the embankment interior subsidence distribution, proposed the embankment interior subsidence distributed rule, and given the project solution; has carried on the finite element analysis to the different compound ground processing way, pointed out uses the pile foundation compound ground to be possible effective to reduce the ground surface subsidence quantity and the differential settlement quantity; has analyzed each kind of combination situation separately in which the breaker strip with a certain thickness and a certain modulus of deformation has been laid down on the natural foundation surface and the pile foundation compound ground surface, and proposed the appropriate scope of breaker strip thickness and the modulus of deformation ; finally based on the construction situation ,has proposed the design and the construction suggestion.
