A three-phase Emergency Power Supply (EPS) is introduced in this dissertation. A bidirectional DC/DC converter, bidirectional PWM converter and absolute digital control technique with DSP are applied to this EPS system . It is green , intelligent and with low cost .In chapter one ,the background of the three-phase emergency power supply and the advantage to other support power supply are presented . The development of digital control technique and the DSP technique are introduced .Two basic components of this EPS circuit: bidirectional DC/DC converter and bidirectional PWM converter are important to EPS . Through the analyses on operating principles, circuit configurations and control strategies of these two converters and the main circuit of EPS is presented in chapter two .Chapter three and four put emphasis on the control strategy of bidirectional DC/DC converter and bidirectional PWM converter. In this chapter, single loop control of current , two loops control of current and voltage , digital PID control and the principle of SPWM are also analysed .Realization of the digital control of EPS using TMS320LF2407A DSP is introduced in chapter five with flow chart of the programme set out.Finally, based on the principle analysis and the system design, we build a 10kVA EPS prototype . The results of the simulation and experiment shows that this EPS circuit is not only feasible but also advanced .
