| Peripherals greatly enriched with intelligent systems development. Therefore information exchanging between various equipment and embeded terminal system becomes very important. Intelligent protocol converters not only simplifies the design process of intelligent system, but also greatly enhanced system integration, and resolve the protocol mismatches between peripherals and smart terminals.Vehicle intelligent system is a typical application of intelligent protocol converters . It's very convenient for applications development by making use of the rich external interfaces of smart multi agreement converters , such as RS-232, USB, RS-485, Ethernet, and software support for these interfaces. This paper basically completed the access of Serial Port(including GPRS, GPS modules), LCD&TP interface,, USB interface equipment,achieved multi-protocol conversion and designed a second development platform .All of this achievd the desired results envisaged.This article will make a detailed presentation of the design and realization of intelligent converters, and the specific applications in the vehicle system. Chapter I introduced the background of this topic, features and applications of an embedded systems and vehicle system.ChapterII introduced the system development environment, including a hardware development environment-ArmSys44B0-P, and a software environment-uClinux and MiniGUI. Chapter III described the framework of the whole system and the realization and functions of internal modules. Chapter IV introduced system hardware design on a variety of peripherals interface. Chapter V is the most important chapter,it's about the design of the various equipment driver, including Serial Port, LCD, touch screen,USB driver,and GPRS , GPS driver based on serial. Chapter VI introduced MiniGUI applications design, including the main window and the module design. Chapter VII summarized the main work of the paper ,the limitation of the systems and the improving methods. |
