The history that tongue diagnoses used in medicine diagnoses is very very long , As early as ancient times .many medical books .such as "Emperor's book" "Cold theory " .had recorded that watching tongue was to diagnose .The meaning , tongue diagnose used in clinic .stick out a smile .and the image of tongue is also be a impersonality proof . Herbal traditional method often is that use the eyes to observe tongue. The veracity of it lies on the experiences and acknowledge of clinic doctor's tongue, and the result has been affected by environment, such as brightness, lamp-house. It limited the development of tongue diagnoses.With the development of image manipulation, we can use the technology of it to decrease personal fact that is uncertain. It promoted medical level, and also create a new way. Its basic idea is to analyze the image stored in computer, and catch the characters of it. Based on the information stored in computer, we can select the other information according to the characters, and serve for the other user.We do research on tongue impersonality. Firstly, we discussed the tongue division, which is combined to herbalism. Secondly, we changed RGB color-space to HSV color-space, then used the arithmetic, such as dilation erosion and median, in order to divide tongue. Thirdly, we used color channel threshold to certify its characters. Fourthly, we used article intelligence arithmetic to extract and match the characters. Last but not least, we designed auxiliary system which is based on B/S architecture. Through the software, we can easily know our health status.
