High-accuracy signal generator is essential in various testing and experiments, which is applied in communication, radar, measurement, control and education widely, and the accuracy of the signal generator is required higher and higher. There are some shortages and defects about the function and accuracy of the signal generator which is designed by traditional methods such as direct analog synthesize and Phase–locked loop, and these traditional methods can't satisfy the request. In order to solve the problem, this paper designed and developed high-accuracy and high- performance three-phase six lines signal generator based on DDS technology.Firstly, after researching the design method of the signal generator, the limitation of the traditional methods was analyzed and pointed out, and the excellence of DDS technology in the signal generator design application was expatiated.Secondly, according to the technique indicator and the function requirement, the overall design of the system was given out, the hardware system was designed and developed based on DSP, and the hardware electric circuit of the system was given out as well. The design method and the principle of the power module, the latch and address decode module, the programmable clock module, isolation module, the D/A converter and low pass filter module, the FLASH module, the RS232 serial interface communication module and the JTAG module of the system were discussed in details.Thirdly, the software system was designed and developed, and the total designing ideas of the software were expanded. The software design and realization method of the system initialization module, the signal generation module, the interruption module, the programmable clock module, the serial interface communication module and the system boot module were given out.Fourthly, by constructing the experimental and testing platform, the prototype was debugged and tested and the experimental results and data were given out. The resolve methods to the problems in the process of debugging were given out as well.After debugging and testing the prototype, the designed system can realize the simulation of the three-phase six lines analog power network. The adjustable accuracy of the signal frequency, phase and amplitude and the anti-interference all attained or bettered than design standard requests. The system can work stably and attained the anticipated object.
