Solid clay brick still prevails in the load-bearing wall materials in china. It has thousands of years ' history as conventional wall material in china . With the social progress , brickworks that employ solid clay brick haven't already met the requirement of energy-saving building , Therefore , the government proclaims solid clay bricks will be prohibited to use in designated time . According to local condition and the characteristic of economic circumstances , it is imperative to develop new-type wall materials , especially new-type load-bearing wall materials. In China, a huge quantity of construction and demolition (C&D) wastes is produced every year, the wastes are mainly composed of concrete rubbles or bricks. The disposal of the wastes has become a severe social and environmental problem in the territory. The possibility of recycling of these wastes in construction industry is thus of increasing importance. It is helpful in dealing with a bad influence on environment because of castoff. At the same time , this concrete can save on the large number expenditure of cleaning, transportation and disposing . Recycled concrete meet three meanings of " green " fully, which put forward by World Environment organization : (1) saving resource and energy sources ; ( 2 ) don ' t destroy environment, while in favor of environment; ( 3 ) durative development, not only meet the request of men of moment, but also not hurt the faculty of meeting unborn generation's requirement. In this paper, the test results of mixture ratio of the concrete using recycled aggregates (crushed concrete rubbles or crushed bricks) are given. The fundamental properties such as the compressive strength, the shrinkage ratio and the freezing-thawing characteristics of concrete perforated brick using the recycled aggregates are tested and discussed in detail. The technological requirements to produce the concrete perforated bricks using recycled aggregates molded with extrusion method are also discussed. It is indicated that the grade of concrete perforated bricks using crushed concrete aggregates can reach MU15 or Mu20, the grade concrete perforated bricks using crushed brick aggregates can reach Mu10 or...
