Perforated brick masonry is a new wall materials, it has the different affect factors to ordinary brick masonry. But the mechanics performance of both is treated as the same in the present code for design of masonry structures, therefore further studies on mechanics performance of perforated brick masonry is needed. In this paper, some useful achievement is obtained through experimental research and theoretical analysis.The compressive strength of the perforated brick masonry is higher than which of ordinary brick masonry is indicated in the compression experiment. Based on the experimental results in the paper and the mass collected data, the influence of the dimension of brick and hole type and material and void ratio et al factors to the perforated brick masonry is analyzed systematically. Adopting the void ratio synthesis influence coefficient and material type influence coefficient, the theoretical formula and practical formula of perforated brick masonry compressive strength calculate are established. The calculate result of both formula is coincide with experimental result, so it is much improved to the present code method. Moreover, the stress-strain whole curve formula of perforated brick masonry and Young's modulus and Poisson ratio mechanics parameter are achieved in the paper.The shear strength of the perforated brick masonry is much higher than which of ordinary brick masonry is indicated in the shear experiment. The mainly reason of mortar's pin key action and the second reason of cementing bond difference between brick and mortar are found. Combining rigid-plastic ultimate theory and least energy consumption principle, the shear strength of pin-key action of perforated brick masonry is achieved, and basis on it, shear strength formula considering pin-key influence of perforated brick masonry is established. The calculate result of formula is coincided with experimental result, so the formula is provided as reference for engineering design and code revise.Shear-compression composite mechanics performance of perforated brick masonry using great FEM analysis software ANSYS is analyzed. While stress peak value appearing, the axial compression ratio of perforated brick masonry is smaller than which of ordinary brick masonry is achieved in shear-compression related curve of masonry.
