The composite girder bridge with corrugated steel web is a kind of new type structure, which makes use of the material characteristics of concrete and corrugated steel webs and shows it's powerful vital energies. For the purpose of developping fatigue resistance design methods, the dissertation investigates fatigue of the composite girder bridge with corrugated steel web.On the basis of analysis of the related fatigue tests researches of corrugated web girders, combined with the structural and mechanical properties of composite girders with corrugated web, the stress distribution is analysized by a FEA software of ANSYS, especially in web-flange weld. The results of finite element analysis show that the highest stress and the stress concentration factors always appear at the end of the flat part of the inclined fold, point S and some parameters have an influence on the stress and SCF of point(S) to some extent. For these parameters, the corrugation angle(θ) is the parameter which most influence the stress condition and SCF near point S. To decrease the lowest possible stress and SCF at the point S and improve fatigue of the composite girder with corrugated webs, parameters of corrugate webs should be designed properly.On the basis of the Paris formula and local stress-strain method, the fatigue life of crack initiation and crack propogation can be predicted. A two-stage calculation model predicting web-flange welded of corrugated web girders's fatigue life is proposed in this dissertation.
