Ever since then, this remarkable teaching reform has gained force in universities in China.A nation has to learn and borrow from other nations advanced science and technology as well as ideas for development to boost its own progress and keep up with the pace of the time. Language is an important media and tool for learning and communication. Past experience shows that nations like Canada, Singapore, India, with their sound language environment and highly professional bilingual teaching, have enhanced the development of their countries by taking advantage of the language to make good communications with advanced countries and absorb and assimilate their advanced elements.China has to bring up talents who have better understanding of professional language of science and technology.
