As a result of the complexity of the modern engineering system structure, the circumstance growing harsh and worse , and the need of the longer no trouble working-time ,the system is objectively demanded to possess higher and higher effect. The requirement of the situation forces the engineer designers to have to think the reliability of system as one of main content designed. To promote the development of the shell-conveyer design work, to advance further the reliability of the shell-conveyer system, and to popularize shell-conveyer wide usage, the thesis carries out the analysis and design research of the shell-conveyer reliability, centering on the state of the artillery shell-conveyer usage and trouble.The text regards PLZ83-152mm shell-conveyer, made in our own country, as the main object of analysis and research. According to the ways of the system reliability analysis and design , the paper carries out the analysis of the shell-conveyer losing effectiveness, the reliability analysis of the shell-conveyer's function, and the structure reliability analysis of the chief parts, foundes the reliability model of the shell-conveyer system , and budgetes the reliability of the system. During the reliability analysis of the main components, the essay is on the basis of the tenets and methods of the mechanism reliability design, goes on the analysis of parts' pressure and resistance ,and completes their relevant reliability design.Through the analysis and research, the fact can be obtained , the condition of the structure reliability of the shell-conveyer, the parts easily becoming invalid, and the probability of the failure. The reliability design improved is completed according to the new index estimated.
