The mechanisms in the impacting load are ubiquitous. Moreover they are wider in the military equipment. As the capabilities of tactics of military equipment are very special, the reliability of motion is most important among the function reliabilities of the mechanisms. So it is worthy of studying the reliabilities of the mechanisms in the impacting load.Based on consulting large numbers of relative documents , this article analyses the disable modes of the mechanisms, illustrates the factors to cause invalidation and analyses the character -istics of invalidation modes concerned with mechanical intensity detailedly. Then it studied the reliability of the inserting and drawing mechanism which controls the shooting of the missile bomb in the missile cannon. (1) It analyses the kinematics of the four-joint pole among the inserting and drawing mechanism, including position, velocity and acceleration. And it also analyses the dynamics of the four-joint pole among the inserting and drawing mechanism. It gets two conclusions. The first one is that the smaller the angle of the parallel joint pole is, the more quickly increasing push-force which acts on the oriented pin does. So it must try to pull out the inserting and drawing mechanism when the parallel joint pole is at the larger angle in order to reduce the extent of the inserting and drawing, i.e. trying to increase Ldcx. The second one is that the forces which are exerted onhydraulic damper is more than the ones which are exerted on the oriented pin. (2) It creates the math model of the bending intensity for the mechanisms in the compacting load, and calculates the reliabilities of mechanisms with the model, which proves the model is right to use to calculate the reliabilities of intensity. (3) It calculates and analyses the reliability of the fatigue and rupture intensity of the inserting and drawing mechanisms, and compares the results which are got respectively in the case of three different Ldcx. It get theconclusion that the longer Ldcx is, the higher reliability of the mechanism is.
