It has great important effect on the stealth of UUV for the vib-acoustic. Therefore, theoretical research of underwater ring-stiffened cylinder shell has crucial guiding significance for national defence.This thesis centers around the reduction of vib-acoustic radiation from UUV. Three methods are adopted to solve vib-acoustic radiation from underwater ring-stiffened cylinder shell. Moreover, the influence on vib-acoustic radiation for damping treatment is also studied. At low frequency range, finite element method and boundary element method are combined to investigate vib-acoustic radiation from underwater ring-stiffened cylinder shell. Based on above research, the influences of damping treatment, the thickness of damping layer and the manner of damping paste are further analyzed. At high frequency range, statistical energy analyses are used to analyze vib-acoustic radiation from underwater ring-stiffened cylinder shell, and the influence of ring-stiffened is also given.At last, the vibration measurement test of cylinder shell is developed in air and is compared with according numerical analysis result. It shows that the modal density of measured cylinder shell is large and measurement result gets good agreement with theoretical result.
