Now, The optimal design of Sewerage networks has been more and more important in Sewerage design engineering. Genetic Algorithms is a searching and optimal one founded during the process of imitating biological evolution.The Application of Genetic Algorithms has been broadly and deeply studied by many domestic and foreign scholars and something they have find.The design of the Xinghuaying sewerage networks is one of the most important ones which is building now in Kai Feng.it is a engineering project of grand scale and high investment. It is very significant to optimate the design by Genetic Algorithms.Based on simple Genetic Algorithms ,we set up the parameters of Kaifeng's cost function and the optimal design of sewerage networks. By the feature of the optimatal objects,we choiced the way of coding ,crossover operator and mutation perator one by one .Then we optimated the design. Finally, it shows that Genetic Algorithms is good at the engineering project of the design of the Xinghuaying sewerage networks .It will show its grand engineering usful sooner or later.
