Along with the innovation of the power system, every power plant pays much attention to its economy, security and environment. The fly ash carbon as an important economic and technical factor affects the efficiency of boiler, electrical precipitator, the integrated use of ash and the safety of the heated face. For the sake of controlling it, we should obtain its data in time to guide operator to adjust combustion. But now we always use the method of weight incineration to obtain it, which often occur the data lag more than several hours, though it does not guide to adjust combustion. So the study of the fly ash carbon forecast technique is very essential and important.At first, I summarize the harm of the high ash fly carbon and the importance of the forecast technique, at the same time I introduce the status of this technique.Secondly, based on the study of the former, I establish a fly ash carbon forecast model which is satisfied to the engineering precision and convenient to use. we can forecast fly ash carbon only through inputting the data of the boiler, coal and some operation in this model. Because the physical and chemical order are all complex, so for the sake of the engineering use, I do some predigest and project mend.In the paper, the boiler is divided into mixture section and pole section, the mixture section is a single one, the pole section is divided into four regions along the high. Flow model, combustion model and radiation model in every section are established. In flow model, I adopt full gene to eliminate dead area; in combustion model, I adopt the new idea of coal reaction dynamics to consider the affection of the coal and use the oxygen gene to eliminate the odds of wind and coal power; in radiation model, for calculation simply, I establish a face to face exchanged radiation model based on basic radiation theory, it reduces calculate and it's precision is high.At last, I use MATLAB to compile its procedure to forecast the fly ash carbon and test in two 300MW soft coal and lean coal boiler, the results reveal its preciseness.
