ADAMS was developed by MDI(Mechanical Dynamics Inc) in USA. ADAMS is the first computer software oriented simulating working characteristic of integer mechanical system. ADAMS helps engineer forecast working characteristic of integer mechanical system utilizing the advantage of virtual prototype in designing forepart in order to realize the best design on system level. ADAMS is applicable to every stage of design. The ignition system plays an important role in the integer characteristic structure of high rate of revolving battery gun. The characteristic of ignition system is related to igniting rate and influence fire accuracy. The Paper describes the algorithm and principle as well as operating steps for ADAMS. The dissertation applies the powerful ability of ADAMS in kinematics and dynamics simulation analysis to the ignition system.
