| When studying the parametric design of muzzle brake, this dissertation discussed modern patterns of artillery design, and promoted one practical parametric design method of muzzle brake basing on the structure of the chambers. It discussed the theory of resemblance design on mechanics, and discussed the probability of resemblance design on artillery. In pratical works that proved to be a good method to muzzle brake design and a good way to reuse design knowledge to release the burden of the dedign job. In the procedure of establish the software system for muzzle brakes, the implementation strategy of CAD system of muzzle brakes was studied. The design ideas for this system are expanded in four parts: concept design, detail design, geometrical modeling, integration with I-DEAS and implementation. Effective approaches were put forward which to define design parameters along with dynamic and intelligent solve various engineering design constraints, and parameters information database, dimension constrain, functions database and model database are establishes. By analysing the design process of muzzle brake, the parameter update algorithm was given in this dissertation. These algorithms can call the three databases, and this is the kemel of the system. |
