Along with exploitation of resource of ocean, ocean engineering become more and gradually into the deep ocean from the offshore. Well-known, ocean environment is complex, there are many factors to affect the structure. So ocean engineering need foundations with more highly capability. The pile-bucket foundation is a new multi-foundation with highly vertical bearing capacity of pile and horizontal bearing capacity of bucket foundation. Because this foundation is provided with advantage of both pile and bucket foundation, it has a good performance. It can be use to port, ocean oil plat roof, breed aquatics in deep ocean and so on. It be worth to engineering research .Pile-bucket foundation characteristic is the capacity of bearing pressure loading, uplift-loading and horizontal loading. This paper is only to research and analyze the uplift model test and the result of simulation with PDF2D.Firstly, a series of model test, including whole model, half model and special device, are designed to research uplift characteristic of pile-bucket foundation. The whole model is used to analyze the relation between uplift-loading and up-displacement, to observe rupture on the surface of soil. Half model is mainly used to observe rupture in the interior.Secondly, according to the result of whole model test with uplift-load, we can get the rupture of surface including two circle with one center that is the pile axes and radioactive cracks, this paper analyses the relation between uplift-load and up-displacement. The uplift-loading and up-displacement curve is typical. It has a linear segment, a transition segment and a precipitate segment. Base on the relation without dimension, some pile-bucket foundation up-displacement control calculating models are designed.
