Based On The Vehicle Driving Impulse Of The Road Alignment Evaluation

In our country, road safety issues have become more prominent. National economy and people's lives have had a great impact. The road alignment is the major factor affecting road safety. Road alignment audit in the road design stage, will significantly reduce security risks. Base on the thought, this paper makes full use of simulated driving platform, raises the auto impulse as a parameter to evaluation the road alignment.Base on the road design parameters and speed prediction models, this paper has established mathematical model of auto impulse, and work out the data processing and analysis software. The auto impulse density and the impulse in sections are raised as indicators to evaluation the road alignment. Through the driving simulations Group 30, collecting data and calculating, the auto impulse density and the impulse in sections can be accepted. Correlating the results accessing from tow ways, those are basic agreement. Through comparison with the actual data traffic accidents, it has showed the auto impulse can well reflect the change of road alignment, the auto impulse density and the impulse in sections as the indicators can be used to identify the road alignment.This paper firstly using the auto impulse as parameter to evaluation the roadalignment is feasible. It is a successful exploration, improves existing roadsalignment evaluation system.
