Reliability and quantity for power supply have been paid attention to electric power's scholars inside and outside the countries. In developed country, the load-breaker, load-interrupter, recloser, sing-connection-capacitor, etc had been used broadly, so as to decrease the occupied land and invest, an dincrease the quality, reliability and flexibility of power supply. Along with the fast development in national economy, the more power they need, the more reliability and quality they ask. With developing of modern electron technique, people began to study how to use the technique of computer and communication as the device to realize the remote control and monitor in time, and reduce the outage time and number, so that,it is necessary and imperative to study how to clear isolate the faults and restore power automatically, and upgrade the field switches to intelligent level.The paper, firstly, introduced the function and principalof the distribution network automation system as well as their developing stages. This paper, mainly introduced the search and development of the system of auto-reconfiguration. The intelligent load breaker can discriminate, local, isolate, and restore the power. Intelligent load breaker is equipment of T-lines of 10kv, is proper for the system of none middle line connected. When the T-lines is in trouble, it can cut off the T-lines in a short time and disturb little of the main line. Greatly increase the reliability of power supply.
