In recent years, with the rapid development of social economy, more and more highways are going to be maintained because of the saturated traffic, terrible climate, engineering technology and so on. Therefore, it is very important to find out the most low-cost methods that being used to prolong the highway's lives. A way to settle this problem and improve roads' function is to make good use of those economical technology measures. The technology of fiber-reinforced asphalt concrete is an effective precept. As the technology of fiber concrete develop in the highway area, many people glom on to the market, so there are more and more material companies come out inside and outside the country, at the same time, the materials have many types. Some materials, which haven't been tested, are applied with the modern theory, there must have influence in the quality and cost of the road surface project and so on. As lots of types in materials, there are many differences in the processing technique, the performance and the quality, at the meantime, there have the problems in the difference of the improvement of the concrete performance. In order to find the materials with right spec and quality, and well extend the applying of fiber-reinforced asphalt concrete, the author made a holistic investigation on fiber, some interrelated contrastive test analyze and evaluation to fiber performance.Through analyzing the true engineering examples, this paper demonstrates that fiber-reinforced asphalt concrete is feasible, effective and applied. The methods and relevant measures, which are mentioned in the paper, can be used to roundly, exactly analyze and settle the problem that is occurred in fiber's election and application. This paper is helpful to study fiber-reinforced asphalt concrete, and also has practical value for the road surface project.
