DC power supply system which is equipped on F-7 aircraft is a very importantsystem onboard; its performance affects the flight safety of aircraft directly. DC powersupply system F-7 aircraft was developed in 1970's. So far the other current domesticprojects on aircraft power supply test system has been of low intelligence andcomplicated operation by adopting the manual one-by-one-item test method. While thedesign given in this article adopts auto test method, owing to which a high automationof test system is gained. In this test system the check and control of towed part, testcontrol, data process and loading management are all completed by computer, whichimproves the airborne power supply system test technology to an advanced level in ourcountry. This article briefs the components and operation principle of QF-12 generator,TY-7A charcoal voltage regulator, CJ-400D countercurrent stopper, BJD-1Aauto-protective relay of DC power supply system, and designing requirement of testsystem. Based on that, project for simulation of operation environment on aircraft inflight, which is the main function of the auto test system, is discussed in details.Following aspects are included:1. Simulation of aircraft engine running;2. Simulation of load onboard;3. Simulation of voltage stabilizing circuit and auto-protecting function onboard.Around above-mentioned aspects and technical data of tested components, thearticle analyses and discusses the projects of driving bench, test/control unit, powerdistribution tank, wind cooling system, DC load, security and installation requirementfrom the operational principle and model selection of components, application software,as well as raw material and manufacture technology of equipment combined withpractical appliance experiences. And so on, the article describes that auto test system tested the qualifiedcomponents separately after the auto test system being established. The test resultsshowed the tested parameters are correct and valid, and the auto test system operated functionally and met the designing requirements. At last, the article briefs that the auto test system has already been put into use andpractically verified as qualified and stably operating. It also wins good evaluation fromforeign customers especially with its simple and convenient operation, quick and stabletest, accurate data process and etc. So far it's been in normal operation. This project provides an advanced solution domestically for test on airbornepower supply system. It also supplies a beneficial reference for automation of test onother airborne components.
