Design And Implementation Of A Uav Ground Flight Control Station

The thesis has researched a well functioning UAV ground flight control station system which is called flight control station for short. The flight control station provides stance information and hitch showing, hand remote control and other function, can send remote control command, has its database which can query flight information offline. The flight control station communicates with the navigation station through the Ethernet.The flight control station connects the ground navigation station and the automatic pilot, so it is the server in the UAV system. The main task of the flight control station is obtaining real time remote data which is sent by the automatic pilot and sending instructions to the automatic pilot on time. UAV's important stance information is showed in the interface of the flight control station.The flight control station which used serial communication communicates with the automatic pilot by the wireless link, the communication protocol of which is RS422.In the base of the common serial communication method ,the author choose the class which is provided by the other team. In order to obtain the real time request, the communication between the flight control station and the navigation station is achieved through the Ethernet. The flight control station is the server port and the navigation station is the client port. Because the function programs of the flight control station are designed under Windows which is a multitask operation system, two kinds of high precise timer are designed by multithreading technology, and they can precise to one millisecond and one thousandth of a millisecond. In addition, we design a database, which is connected to the flight control station by ADO,so the flight information can be queried offline.After the whole system's experiment, the flight control station can show the remote sensing information and send the remote control command precisely.It's showed that the flight control station works well and the communication is of perfect real-timeproperty. The task of the flight control station is fulfilled with satisfaction.
