With the increasing development of science and technology,and the technological innovation in military field,the role of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)is more and more important in the current world pattern,so the research on UAV is also growing in many countries.With the rapid development of UAV,the ground control station(GCS)as the link between people and UAV is particularly important.The GCS system has been constantly updated and developed,so it can complete the flight task of UAV correctly and effectively.The following is the research contents of the thesis.Firstly,according to the project requirements,the research on UAV ground control station is carried out,and the programming and functional design of the GCS system software is completed.Then,the techniques involved mainly include multi-thread mechanism,windows messaging mechanism,timer technology,serial communication technology,delegation and events.Besides,for the UAV GCS,it is mainly divided into five parts: main form interface,link communication,map navigation,route planning,and task playback.According to these five parts,this paper implements link communication between the GCS and UAV on the basis of "minjie 1" measure and control protocol,as well as the map navigation based on MapInfo,route planning,and task playback function.Moreover,we adjust the interface many times to make the GCS more conveniently operated.Secondly,there are some connection tests and actual debugging between the GCS and the UAV after completing the design of the GCS system software,The test results show that the GCS can not only accurately send telemetry command,guidance command and flying task command in real time,but also receive the telemetry information without any omission from the UAV,and then display the information in the main window interface.Based on the above,the whole ground control system is very reliable,and the real-time communications are strong,which can meet the requirements of the design of the system software.
