Electrical power demand is increasing with the persistent high-speed rise. The electric power transmission with ultra long-distance range and ultra volume is inevitably caused by natural conditions of China as well as the characteristic of energy and load-center locating. It is the time to development higher electrical level with expansion of EHV electrical network. Then, electromagnetic interference of UHV grids to electrical equipment and impacts of power frequency to human's health is paid more and more attention. This paper studies the power frequency electromagnetic fields around transmission lines mainly by theoretical calculating, based on the present research achievements.This article has done following tasks through emulating and analyzing: (1)The features, development and present situation of domestic and foreign UHV electrical transmission, as well as indisputability and significance of China's UHV development are introduced. (2)Former mathematical models of power frequency electromagnetic field are generalized, computer aided analysis software is programmed by Delphi. (3)The distribution law and influencing factor of electromagnetic field around UHV lines are summarized, electromagnetic field of domestic and foreign typical UHV lines is calculated theoretically and analyzed, some control methods are propose. (4)Researches about influences of electromagnetic field to human and environment are concluded, with the help of fore cited analysis result, suggestion about construction of China's UHV grids is advanced.
