With the development of micro-electronics technology, the digital control system gains more and more comprehensive applications in modern engineering field. The control system based on CANBUS is popularizing in modern engineering field. The digital auto-leveling control system has great effect on improving the performance and manipulation of asphalt spreading. Because of it's high-trustiness and agility, the research have great realistic significations. There are many schemes to realize the asphalt spreading's control system, The researchful control system in this paper is designed base on CANBUS and C8051F040 singlechip as CPU.Based on these, we design the display controller, the transverse grade sensor, the lengthways grade sensor, the transverse grade and the lengthways grade controller. They answer for respectively state display, information collection and servo control, and they control the auto-level of asphalt spreading harmoniously.At the same time, the paper researches on control arithmetics for the auto-leveling control system, from PID control arithmetic to fuzzy control arithmetic, at last fuzzy PID control arithmetic. The paper analyses each one in detail and gets the best arithmetic for the control system.At last, we set up our system's math mode separately and make emulate analysis. We make segmental experiments at the asphalt spreading, the results show that this system is feasible and resultful . It will be a good base for the next study.
