Extradosed cable-stayed bridge is a new type of bridge, which possesses both peculiarities of continuous rigid-frame bridge and cable-stayed bridge. Compared with rigid-frame bridge, the span of extradosed cable-stayed bridge has been upgraded greatly, and the construction is much simpler than cable-stayed bridge. In addition, extradosed cable-stayed bridge belongs to combination system and structure of varying section, so it has more particularity and complexity than other types of bridges. For its large-scaled and complicated structure, as well as the polytrope of the geologic situation, construction technology of Hemaxi Bridge must be researched fully. So in this essay, some key features of extradosed cable-stayed bridge was expatiated, and construction technology of extradosed cable-stayed bridge was investigated in detail. Some aspects of achievement are as follows:1. It summarizes the construction technologies and methods of long-heavy foundation construction, durability concrete construction, mass concrete construction, prestressed concrete box beam construction, main tower construction, cable stay construction, as well as the technology of construction control, etc.2. Combined with the characteristics of extradosed cable stayed bridge and the local topographic features, the construction process of long-heavy cast-in-site bored pile of Hemaxi Brook Bridge is presented in detail, including the embedment of pile casing during the process of borehole, the methods and notices of borehole, handling and connection of reinforcement cages, as well as the concrete with under-placement, etc.3. Influencing factors on the durability of concrete are specially enumerated, and the methods of how to advance the durability of concrete have been put forward. Also the relation between the tests of concrete anticorrosive and working life, and the relation between the C1 filter and working life are expatiated.4. The reasons of crack phenomenon during the construction processes of mass concrete and the methods to keep away from the crack phenomenon are discussed, and the reasonable construction technology of bearing platform and pier body of the main bridge is presented. 5. Considering structure characteristic of extradosed cable-stayed bridge, the construction of Hemaxi Bridge's superstructure was completed with reasonable construction technology.
