The aim of this thesis is improving the energy efficiency by way of changing cutting method. Adopting theoretical analysis and experimental research, the mechanism of resistance reduction and energy-consuming rule of vibratory excavation of hydraulic excavator is analyzed and verified by experiment.Firstly, the actuality of research and application of vibratory excavation technology is expounded, the presented problem during research process is pointed out after the research actuality of this project is summarized. Researching on the effect of vibratory load acting on the process of soil breakage reveals that vibratory load can reduce the maximum main stress of soil during its breakage, vibratory excavation can improve the force of the bucket blade and block the formation of cutting core. Then, each fraction of cutting resistance mathematical model of hydraulic excavator is educed, the relationship between each fraction of cutting resistance mathematical model and instantaneous swing angle of bucket when the cutting depth is 30cm and the cutting object is adhesive soil is researched by using of MATLAB, vibratory load can effectively reduce the total digging resistance compares to static load is validated. Each way of vibratory excavation which arosed by vibratory flux of bucket hydraulic cylinder, the limitation of rectangle wave load vibratory excavation is pointed out, the cutting mechanism of normal load, sine wave vibratory load and triangular wave vibratory load is analyzed, the displacement equation and velocity equation of three work conditions are educed, the critical cutting condition of vibratory excavation is analyzed, the cutting time and cutting displacement of one frequency is calculated, the energy consuming mathematical model of three cutting conditions are educed. At last, detailed experiment scheme is designed and energy consuming test experiment is done on the basis of energy consuming model.The experiment result indicates that compares to static excavation, vibratory excavation can improve the cutting efficiency, but also can reduce the chief cutting resistance and decrease the energy-consuming, which conformably as academic analyse. It also indicates that the excavation effect of sine wave Vibratory load is better than triangular wave vibratory load. The technology of vibratory excavation presents a new way of energy saving research on hydraulic excavator.
