With the development of the Chinese economy, the tunnel group is widely used in the underground project. And blasting is adopted frequently during the course of construction. The excavation of the adjacent tunnels is of great difficulty to the construction. The effect of blasting vibration on an adjacent tunnel is a key technology which is focused on by the scientists around the world. According to the character of the blasting vibration, and on the basis of analysis of wave theory, the effect of blasting vibration on the adjacent tunnel is studied through the simulation with software FLAC3D.The main work in this paper is divided into five parts , they are as followed.(1) The safety standards and the judgment methods which the blasting vibration acted on an adjacent tunnel has been analyzed. Practically, the vilosity of vibration is still the main standard, but in the future is tended to study the safety standards considering the effect of frequency and duration.(2) The character of blasting wave spreading in the rock has been studied. And on the basis of the wave theory, the solution of the stress and displacement of rock around circle tunnel under the incidence of a horizontal stress wave has been presented.(3) Using the software FLAC3D, by simulating the vibration effect on an adjacent tunnel caused by the coupling charging blasting, the rules of stress distribution, displacement distribution and peak particle velocity distribution of rock are obtained, which provide the reference for the project construction.(4) With the FLAC3D, the vibration effect on an adjacent tunnel caused by tunnel blasting is studied, and the result of stress distribution, displacement distribution and peak particle velocity distribution of rock are obtained.(5) The dynamical response of tunnel group under the incidence of a horizontal stress wave is studied. The key elements of the blasting wave are amplitude, frequency and duration. Using the software FLAC3D, under the condition that three elements varied seperately, the rules of the stress distribution, displacement distribution and plastic range of rock has been each analysed.
