And at the same time, summarizing the external factor which leads to urban space expanding: the gravitation among cities or towns, industrial area expanding itself, and influence of the urban road, using RS and GIS technology, choose the Qinghe-Xisanqi area and Beijing urban area-urban area in Tongzhou, industrial area of Capital Iron and Steel Co., S.4th Ring Road area of Beijing as representatives of three factors separately, analogying the urban area of Beijing-Yizhuang new city and four chosen regional, analyzing that there exists driving force of spreading-type urban spatial expansion between urban area of Beijing and Yizhuang new city.Applying appraisal model of landscape fragmentation to the four areas,and Beijing urban area-Yizhuang new city, and combineing investigating on the spot and photos, draw the above-mentioned areas whether have the risk that form"Urban Sprawl"pattern, or it has already formed the"Urban Sprawl"pattern, thus verify the rationality of the model to a certain extent, meantime analyzing and announceing the inherent reason that makes the land between Beijing and Yizhuang new city easy to fragmentation, and put forward the suggestion to the existing problem.
